Behind DAF – as we would call the German-American friendship from now on for simplicity –
since the founding of this project in 1978, have concealed the two as diverse as innovative musicians
Robert Görl, who is responsible for all compositions as well as drums and electronics, and Gabi DelgadoLopez,
Lyricist and singer of the duo. Robert and Gabi met exactly 35 years ago in the legendary
Düsseldorf-based punk-scene „Ratinger Hof“, discussed the concept of a radically reorientated one night
Band and decided to work on DAF’s concept.
